La Cabana Mexican - Martin

I can’t shake the feeling that positive reviews of La Cabana might actually be misleading publicity created by the restaurant itself to improve its reputation. It seems like it's only a matter of time before the truth comes to light.

I placed an order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I arrived 20 minutes later, I had to wait another 10 minutes, and after that, I was informed that they hadn’t received my order. I repeated it, only to be told that I had called a different location. When I finally got my food, it was still incorrect, even after a second attempt to correct the order. It wasn’t the wrong items, but the portions were not what I had ordered. Frustrated, I decided to cut my losses and went home to verify the phone number I had called—it was indeed the same one. This is the second time in as many years that I’ve had a disappointing experience there, and I ended up paying for it. If you want to try this place, feel free, but I’m done with it. So, shame on me for giving it another chance, and be prepared for less than satisfactory service.

I had lunch there today and was disappointed with every aspect of the experience. The food was mediocre, and the service was just average. The most frustrating part was their refusal to accept my mobile gift certificate purchased from restaurant.com. Nowhere on the certificate does it mention that a printed copy is required. It's not my fault they're not able to handle mobile coupons. We definitely won't be returning!

I love this place and everything I've gotten to eat here has been great!

The beef taco was horrible. The shell was stale and the mets was old. The rice was old and hard and the spinach quesadilla was served with COLD cheese. The spinach tasted JUST like the can, and to add insult to injury the server threw the food down on the table and never even gave me napkins...I complained and the managed got an attitude... I WILL NEVER come here again AND I am going to tell everyone I know.
