Grill 139 - Marshfield

I believe the chef leased the Fairview Inn and reopened there. I wish i knew he was at grill 139 before I would have gone. I. Meant to check out but missed it.When i look at locatiom on directions its confusing as grill 139 now shows at location of Fairview inn. So dont look for Grill , 139 there. They must have linked history but need to tweak it to show right info. Fairvirw has been operayed by several in tge past. We live only a few houses from it. Original was awesome but priced out by landlord. They moved. Landlord operated one he opened there but failed to succeed.Now it is once again thriving with great delicious creative food. Probably more pricey than, 139 but ocean views and higher rent so higher prices. Menu not currently huge yet but will likely expand. Quality and consistency is imporyant and they seem to be doing it right.So check it out its really good.It is awesome food but not grill 139 bit it does seem to be the same chef of 139 and we are very glad he came!

It's tiny. That and the terrible graphics that make up the sign are the only issues you could possibly have at Grill 139. The food is absolutely delicious.

Finally got to try out grill 139 and was not disappointed!! The owners/chef come into my salon with all their kids and if there's ever other customers in the salon they always have great things to say about the food at 139. I got the pulled pork Mac and cheese which was one of their dinner specials it was amazing!! My friend and I just had to try the brookie sundae and it was just as good as it looked if not better. I will definitely be back!!

Almost didn't post this because I don't want this restaurant to get more crowded but it's too good not share! I've never had a bad dish here, generous serving sizes and very fare price. Always fresh and tasty! If I had to make a complaint it would be that their TVs aren't the best quality, but the food makes up for it!

Fabulous! Food, presentation and prices are best for miles around. Everything is homemade. Small, very cozy owners putting most attention into food and maintaining excellent prices. Atmosphere will come . Wait staff excellent. Small venue gives staff ability to ck on customers needs easily. House salad incredible. Half serve was huge! Delicate house dressing let flavor of fresh greens and veggies come through. Lobster Mac and Cheese to die for with fried kale and cauliflower as topper. Lobster fresh and plentiful. Had to take half home! Chicken Marcela had great sauce and tender chicken. Wonderful! Clam chowder spectacular with a scallion, bacon and whole fried clam topper. Where do you EVER see that! This owner/chef is incredible! I'm sure you will see lines outside once people share their experience . Another visit another review! New bigger bar great addition. Food continues to be excellent in both quality and presentation. Need a bigger space!!!!
