Zeno's - Marshalltown

I visited for the first time today. I've heard so many great things about this place in Waverly, IA, and the pizzas were absolutely delicious!

You don’t need to worry about outside food if you’re considering dining here. However, they are strict about not allowing outside food for people with allergies. The manager even came over to tell us there was no outside food allowed, which didn’t seem to concern them that it could be dangerous for my daughter. She is not only gluten-free but also allergic to tomatoes, paprika, and cheese, all of which can make her very sick! We ordered her a gluten-free pizza with butter sauce, but it was greasy and unappetizing. It definitely wasn't worth the $15 we spent! We won't be returning. This was our first and last visit to Zenos.

A place we always stop to eat when we travel back to Iowa. Since I have to have glutten free crust I thought I would give it a try. You did not disappoint...I had the Zeno special and I was so pleased I think I ate almost the entire pizza. The other pizzas in our group were as good, no leftovers. Thanks for making our trip back to Iowa a great start.

Great tasting pizza definitely the best pizza in town

Great pizza, Iowa beers, spacious dining areas that feel cozy. Staff was helpful and generous.
