Hippopotamus - Marseille

As usual, great meat The 400g steak goes perfectly well with ratatouille and roquefort sauce. Not only was it tasty but I left the restaurant full and well prepared for a day full of sightseeing. Also, virgin vanilla green cocktail is well worth it for those who dislike alcohol The dessert was quite nice, too

Great service and perfect location at the old port. I really enjoyed the food and the weather in the city. In my case, I ate outside and the food was served super-fast. Chicken wings were absolutely yummy. You can choose between salad or fries. The only disadvantage is the relation price/quantity.

This review is about the Hippopotamus in Marseille Vieux Port. I love this chaine, acceptable prices and always good food. I agree the service need to be improved. We understand this is a prime and busy location but you are going to continue losing customers if everyone is giving you bad reviews on this matter. I had a very nice lunch and my food was really good. I hope the management take notes.

Tasty food, good cocktails, fair customer service. However I ordered mashed potatoes as side dish, they put baked potato instead..at least it was also tasty.
