Thai cuisine always gives me an impression of hot and spicy food. Not that I mind, it's just that not everyone can take it, particular some members of my family. But on this Friday night, whilst many restaurants were about to shut, this restaurant was still opened and welcomed walk-in customers. At almost 23:00, we had no other option but gave it a go here since it's only two minutes' walk from home. We ordered mango and prawn salad, Thai chicken, Thai noodle and chicken on skewers with satay sauce. Not spicy at all, but most of the dishes were a bit too much on the sweet side, due to overuse of sugar, especially the sauces. I know that the taste of sweetness prompts apetise and perhaps makes one think that it's delicious, but it also devoids of natural favour and leaves a thirsty sensation later. The bill was 40€,which was about right in this neighbourhood. The interior of the restaurant was embellished with Buddhist statue and other related ornaments, with a faked low celing of the map of Thailand and the surrounding countries. I may come again and try the other dishes on the menu as it's so close to my home, something perhaps dried without any sauce.
Only found this place on my second last night. But what a find. Great home cooked south east Asian food. The quality is superb. Fresh and flavoursome. Would recommend for a change from the usual heavy French offerings. Service may not be the best, but definitely worth it
Truly divine. Thank you very much for your welcome, your kindness and your dishes that make us dream. Caramel chicken, a delight accompanied by crunchy chicken spring rolls just like I like. See you soon
Awesome. Small restaurant that doesn't look like much. Excellent dishes, and inexpensive. The lady saw that it was too strong for me and came to change my dish. In the top
