Don Gobi - Marseille

Came after marseille for a family visit .... aircraft delayed. some wind and rain .so after a plane, train and car (well uber) we arrived. just off the main harbour area found a little supermarket. then time to eat. and don gobi came on trump. very nice...small French/Mediterranean restaurant. all in French and guess what I don't speak a word of French, but the nice young lady did, and we exchange talk, she explained the menu to my wife and I and we have met our choice and we were given recommendations for drinks. gin and tonic and a local blonde beer. a great start. the g

Small yet charming, family owned restaurant. Went there for lunch and was recommended a great fish dish and chocolate cake for dessert. Received awesome service and fresh, local food at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend! The owners are just starting out so give...them a try and you won’t regret it!

On don gobi I muted at my first night in marseile while I was looking for another restaurant that was closed. I have seen it as the hand of fate. the charming owner made the dinner particularly pleasant. it almost felt like eating in the home of a...relatively the menu was simple, but that is a plus. everything is fresh and good. I loved the salat. the wine selection was limited, but we will decide and inform. it was a happier way to start my first trip to marseile. I made a point to go back to my second to last night. again a happy experience. that's casual. the tables on the way are right next to the road, so if you are sensitive to the traffic, although, not excessively busy, then I can hear the complaining. for me it is part of the nature of this city. I very much like to reflect the food and the loving service.

Beautiful little restaurant with a lot of souls in the food. it is authentic and homemade, with great combinations of taste. we spent a weekend in marseille and this restaurant was the highlight of the visit. also the waiter was attentive, social and very friendly.

We wandered into this sweet caffe and were thrilled by everything. the food was delicious and we liked that we could order tapa sections as well as the plat you hour. highly recommended.
