Bellevue - Marseille

A perfect and very professional welcome, when I arrive late Friday night, without prior reservation. impeccable room, very clean, very functional and .. with a superb view of the old Port of Marseille. A great thank you to the staff at the reception and the bar for their kindness, politeness and courtesy throughout my stay. A real plus: green key labelling with very good products in a family format.

Top location with view of the good mother. The balcony is very small and it is difficult to move once seated. Winter must be better because jazz is the real reason for this place. The problem is the not very clean peanut dispenser and where is not indicated where to put a room or how much... and an ultra slow service even for a simple drink while there are no crowds. The most beautiful part of this place is the really warm interior.

It is necessary to avoid room 43, the air conditioning is defective, the window does not close well, so we hear what happens in the street, a drain smell in the good room, the room is small and the bed too. For the air conditioning, we can't fix it in the room what's a shame. At the end of one night we were transferred to another room, larger, odourless, with 2 windows closing well, this room corresponding to that on the photo of the confirmation I received. The staff did the utmost to help us, Anidesh (from Mauritius) and Aurèlie in particular as well as the people of the reception I do not remember the name. Breakfast is simple but good. The hotel is very well located on the old port with a view of our guard lady.

Spent a few days here and it was a beautiful stay! Highly recommended. Reviews said something about climate issues? I never had any issues with this

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! If I could give zero stars I would. 1. Heat in room is controlled remotely. Upon arrival our room was 29 degrees Celsius I requested 3 times over 2 days to have the heat turned down and it was never adjusted. 2. Hotel bar had live music till 1 am and the building is not sound proof. (See other reviewers for the same issue) 3.Sewage smell coming up through the drains in the bathroom. This was a terrible experience.
