Paper Lantern Asian Grill Sushi

Everything we ate was absolutely fantastic. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. No complaints whatsoever. Such a nice little place.

Crab Wontons over, over cooked. Dry and tasteless. Hot Sour soup not so hot . Lacked spice and tasted sugar/sweet like Sweet Sour Sauce had been added to make a thin, water broth. Szechuan chicken was NOT szechuan chicken at all. Chicken, over, over cooked carrots, celery and onions. Had the taste of Chef Boyardee canned chicken Chow Mein. Looked like it too. Clear sauce, like Chow Mein. Seriously bad. Flavorless. No spice. No heat. I have never had worse Asian food. Ever.

Generous portions. Kani sushi was delicious. Toast was freshly cooked however was also dripping with oil.

We came to Paper Lantern on a Wednesday evening to celebrate a family birthday. The restaurant is conveniently located in a small shopping center about a half mile north of I-70. It was not busy and we were seating immediately. The server was nice and the food was quickly served. I had the Sushi for 2 and shared it with my daughter. They allowed us to choose the rolls that came with the dinner. Overall a very nice restaurant with good service and quality sushi. I recommend stopping in this restaurant for a good meal.

The food and service was ok. The deco was nice. Nothing that would set them apart from other places. Not a place I would return to.
