The Gasoline Pony - Marrickville

The first time I visited benzin pony, I was just pulled into the opposite. I had brought cobalts to the besen in the morning. I wanted to pick him up from the besen and benzin pony was on the way home. it was a Wednesday night./ I collapsed into a chair and waited for my partner to come. after b arrived I went into the bar and ordered dumplings and really top shelf quality gin and tonic. this was, of course, stupid in my case because the tonic water just tasted like sodawater (I have a problem tasting quinine). / the bands have set up and it had a great mood. I was back a few times and it's still great. I think I'm too old and uncool to hang there.

Great place with an older amount. unusual bands. large ambiente in the back house, nice cooking seats, the smoking gasse away, good for smoker. the bar foods are not brilliant, but also not fabulous. the nachos, knödel and curry. would go definately back for drinks, but eat dinner elsewhere.

This quirky little bar had a great vibe and good service. A spot to stop at if hanging in Marrickville.
