Glasshouse Cafe - Marrickville

This place is amazing, I love coming here for lunch.. I come here maybe twice a week. Glasshouse has a few lunch options, my favourite being the chicken schnitzel roll. The staff are really nice and friendly here... I have also had their chicken and mushroom risotto and hamburger with chips. I haven't had any bad experiences with this place, and will continue to here for lunch.

We were 3 adults and 2 kids. The adults had coffee and the kids had milkshakes. The waitress was just lovely, friendly and chatty with us and had some great jokes with the kids - she is a great asset to that business. The coffee was just how we like it, robust and rich

Went here this morning for brekky and it was not yet busy. We waited and followed up our order thrice and the responses were "I will chase up your order", "it should come soon", "your order is next" in short they forgot our order and we waited for 1 hour!! Mind you we only order bacon and egg and a french toast! So we eneded up cancelling our order then when. This is the second time that I have this experience. So dissapointed!

I get my coffee and breakfast from here every day during the week and love nothing more than coming in and seeing the staff's smiling faces (Bee, i'm talking to you).They are all so friendly and genuine, you don't even have to tell them your order as they remember the local orders, i see this happen all the time. They are always fast and efficient, never had any issues. If you are stuck what to get they will recommend something to you. Lunches are fantastic also :)

Situated next to the Hellenic Bakery - small area outside and room inside - standard menu items for breakfast (served all day), burgers, pasta. Great coffee and superbly perfect poached eggs. It is quite noisy sat next to Illawarra road - but you get to watch everyone going by and all those entering the bakery.
