Cafe Cortado - Marrickville

Don't waste your time, like we did (20 mins detour). It closed down, apparently quite a few months ago, and they haven't bothered to update this profile.

I dont think they can get anything wrong here just amazing. The food is still spectacular not over priced and service A++++ . Thanks so much for a great breakfast and best piccolo coffee. Will see you soon

Being in the food industry i know service is an important thing. I take my hat off to tgese people always with a smile and when my son ordered hot chocolate they had no marshmallow they went and bought a packet so they wont dissapoint an eight year old. Vegetarian breakfast yummmm. Thanks so much

I never would have wandered into Cafe Cortado if their specials board hadn't caught my eye. It looks like any generic cafe serving typical generic cafe fare, but it's not. It is so much more. Serving traditional Peruvian food I enjoyed a perfectly cooked, generous well priced portion of seafood stew. I will be back to try the ceviche, empanadas, croquettes and much much more. Yum!

Visited Marrickville by accident and stumbled on Cafe Cortado, made my day! Beautiful food and authentic Peruvian, can't wait to go back and try all the dishes. Ivan is a great host and we had a good chat about Cusco and Lima. Tamale!!!
