Yum Yum Thai Take Away - Maroubra

Usually this place serves good food but tonight picked up a tasteless red curry . The curry was bland and barely a curry.

Small restaurant. Tasty thai food. Fast and efficient service. Prices are low. Keep in mind they accept cash only. Overall very nice. will visit them again.

Let’s start with the three stars. The reason that I rated the restaurant no higher was due to the decor/ ambiance. It was blowing a gale, raining, cold and the door was difficult to close. The chairs and tables were dated to say the least. Simply put, don’t go there for a function, romantic, family night etc. it’s purely take away. Now let’s talk about the positives. The staff are lovely and the food superb. I had the duck curry which was equal to or better than I’ve had before elsewhere. Takeaway it is and do it we will.

Been to this place a few times. Whilst the seating could do with an update, the food is great food, packed with flavour at a reasonable price. If you want generic, bland Thai food then this is not the place for you. But their curries have an oomph of chilli and have never been disappointed in their food or presentation
