The Bay Hotel & Diner - Maroubra

I waited for about 5 min just to get the attention of the wait staff who were too busy talking about who made out with who on the weekend.. when I finally got someone to take my order, she looked less than impressed to be working there at all.. Anyway, the food took 40 min to come out and was not worth the wait. The chips were cold/ hard and not worth the wait. The glass was dirty, the tables weren't wiped. Overall. Not happy, average service, long wait. The only good thing was the beach view. Will not be coming back

I've been here a few times and sometimes I'm impressed with the food, other times not so much. The staff can be welcoming but then other times they fail to crack a smile.

The Bay is a fantastic venue for the family and the food it outstanding. Kids corner, family dining area and a section for an adult night out. Very friendly staff- well worth the visit!

I pop down for a few beers every week and thoroughly enjoy myself. Great family frendly atmosphere, good pub food and lovely staff. Ticks all the boxes for me.

Fantastic value, taste sensation meals at very affordable prices in a busy,happy, venue with family friendly values. Also boasts a great bar with ocean views, very friendly management and smiling efficient staff catering for all age groups - teens through to seniors.I'm there at least twice a week, once at least with family an weekends with my partner - we all love it!
