Elissar Lebanese Restaurant - Maroubra

I had the best meal at this restaurant! It was cozy and very clean. The staff were really funny and made sure everything was to my liking. I especially appreciate that they offer delivery, perfect for those post-party hangovers. My favorite dish on the menu is the lady fingers. I give this place a 10 out of 10, highly recommend giving it a try!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the best Arabic coffee I have ever tasted. It was incredibly fragrant and smooth, I couldn't resist having two pots! The potato coriander dish was also a standout - crispy on the outside with a fluffy filling inside. Pairing it with hummus created a delicious flavor combination. The lamb kebab skewers were my personal favorite, perfectly juicy and tender. Overall, the banquet was great value for money and the service was top-notch. Not very sure if I have freshly prepared chicken or the a few hours (yesterdays) cooked chicken, it definitely no the juicy chicken I have had in other libaneses restaurants, but still... Great flavor and super garlicky sauce! I'll be back to try something else next time, as the rest of the menu looks awesome!
