Cheung Sing Bbq House - Maroubra

Walking past the place looks quite busy lots of Bbq duck and pork hanging up in the window so in we go there was 6 in our group had the mixed Bbq duck and two types of pork it was all ok but nothing exciting then had chicken , noodles,and prawn combination mixed vegetables fried rice and steamed rice it was all only just ok nothing really stood out from any of the other Chinese restaurants in the area so really nothing to brings us back in a hurry.

Never had a bad meal here; servings are huge, food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I love the rice noodle dishes. Can get crowded at peak dinner time but the wait is not long and well worth it.

Ordered King Prawn Laksa & wow!!! Really tasty, heaps of flavor & a generous amount of prawns. I'll be going back.

Vine solo a este restaurante un domingo a la hora de comer. Pedí laksa con pato a la barbacoa (adjunto foto). La laksa es bol enorme de una especie de sopa con fideos, tofu y muchos condimentos. Nunca la había probado y estaba muy rica. Junto a la sopa me sirvieron una ración de pato a la barbacoa que estaba buenísimo, muy sabroso. Salí del restaurante muy lleno y sólo me costó $11 comiendo con agua. Una locura.El personal no es desagradable, aunque no te prestan mucha atención porque tienen muchas mesas que atender. El ambiente es de restaurante de batalla con ruido y poca decoración, pero aquí se viene a comer mucho, rico y barato.

Authentic Cantonese roasts: pork, char siew, great duck and soya sauce chicken, home made sausages. There is a great choice of roast meats to take away and also eat in with rice and chinese greens. A wide selection of other dishes a la carte. The salt and pepper calamari is excellent and correctly done with the light coloured batter. It is great fun to watch the chef (all ten fingers still intact) chop up the fowls expertly. Asl nicely for the plum sauce and more gravy!
