Hubby and I had an idyllic evening here celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, with a top quality dinner (perfectly prepared steak for him, wild caught salmon for me) sat on the Inn’s charming front porch and watched the sun set over the mountains while deer ambled across the front lawn as we ate. Joseph’s attention to detail and exquisite customer focus made our whole evening so special! If you’re anywhere near Marlinton, Locust Hill is a treasure not to be missed!!

Lovely property with a convenient location right by downtown Marlinton and the Greenbrier trail. The innkeeper is highly personable and caring to each guest who arrives. Get ready to eat the food is prepared in house, often from locally sourced ingredients, and it tastes like it. Deer freely roam the property and the beautiful Appalachian landscape is breathtaking from this old farmhouse. I hope I have an opportunity to visit again! Rooms: 5
