My husband and I, alongside our dogs, always feel welcome at this restaurant. The vegan fish and chips here are top-notch and the owner pays great attention to detail, even offering vegan tartar sauce on the side. The atmosphere is lovely and we always enjoy our meals here.

After taking a stroll in Avebury, we decided to stop by this restaurant. They had a wide variety of tasty vegan cakes, with some options that are also gluten-free. They also offered a great selection of coffee, teas, and Joy chocolates that can all be made vegan. The staff was very friendly. (Review updated on May 2, 2021)

We stopped at a restaurant in Marlborough while on a drive looking for Happy Cow and had a delicious vegan cooked breakfast along with a large coffee. The staff was helpful and friendly, and we noticed that the menu offered several vegan choices for both breakfast and lunch. Another reviewer mentioned that the food took a little longer to come out, but since everything is freshly cooked, a slight delay is to be expected. We appreciated that they took extra steps to prevent cross-contamination by wiping down surfaces before preparing vegan dishes and using separate utensils and plates. We don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for freshly prepared food. We definitely plan to return and would highly recommend this place.

Yes, mercer’s serves meat, but they also make great efforts with vegan fare. the two ladies there are both vegetarian and want to offer more vegan offers. Unfortunately, they were sometimes discouraged by keeping some vegans, even in what they were uncertain, they even wanted to be happy cow. that all came out after we had eaten and when we said we had found them over happy cow and were so glad they were there! the owner explained that she cooks and cleanses everything completely separately to ensure that there is no cross-contamination, and added that it would be both inappropriate and disrespectful to do everything except. this takes time and she has criticism that service was not fast enough as result of vegans. we ordered a vegan breakfast and tees and actually we felt that the service was fast. besides the breakfast (toast, borons, mushrooms, tomatoes, sausage, speck, served with vegan margarine) there were several other options, including a burger and a quiche. they also have vegan mayonnaise and offer soy or milk. another critique was that they do not offer enough vegan choices, but there were definitiw several options that we would have gone and we were so happy to find this beautiful place. the friendly staff has the desire to provide vegans and it would be a shame if this was discouraged by other vegans on the way away. If we are back in the opposite, we would definitely return. we would have given them 5 stars for their efforts if it were allowed.

Lovely staff and place, I had a latte with oat milk (delicious), a vegan pie slice and a chocolate cookie to die for, produced in town. Absolutely recommended.
