One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Love the bar atmosphere. Great Italian food!!!
Food was outstanding. Steak special, appetizers and awesome service. Have not been in a while since moving from NJ, but one of first stops upon return. Did not disappoint. Always a great meal and evening.
By far the best restaurant in the Manalapan, Marlboro and surrounding area. The food is amazing, always cooked to perfection and speaks for itself (especially the spicy vodka sauce). But what’s sets Osteria apart from other restaurants is the bartenders, servers and hostesses. They all make you feel like family, no matter how busy it is, if it’s your first time visiting or your 100th time. Joey, James and Jordan hold down the bar like no one else can. Great conversations, Great jokes, Great service and the best drinks in the area by far (highly recommend the blood orange martini). Mike is an amazing server, always on point, attentive, friendly, funny, has great recommendations and will never leave you in want for anything. If you need an example from personal experience to get you to try this restaurant or to see how great and amazing all the staff is, here you go. No reservation made for after my daughter’s high school graduation (didn’t realize how many schools in the area graduated the same day). Came to Osteria (which was packed with parties and advance reservations). Not only did the hostess get us a table so fast, but Mike was still so attentive to us (as he was covering multiple other larger tables) and Joey and James had perfect drinks coming out without a wait (from behind a packed bar) and the food was delicious and perfect as always. Do yourself a favor and make your way over to Osteria as soon as you can. Trevor and Donna
Went here Sunday 7/7 for my birthday dinner since it was an Italian restaurant with a liquor license and had a very big menu. However, we went for an early dinner just me and my boyfriend but as we got seated, we weren’t greeted by a server after 10 minutes sitting and not having a drink list in front of us. I then scan the room hoping for someone’s attention until a man comes over and ask’s what we want to drink. We did not get a drink list after being seated so we had to ask for one. He then comes back to take our drink order without introducing himself. At this point that left a bad taste knowing that us and a party of 5 got seated around the same time and the other party’s waited immediately saw them and even got their appetizers when we got our drink. The worst part was our so called waiter treated his other tables completely different, greeting them as they got seated and received a drink menu. It was flat out disgusting and had to find out his name when another server yelled out his name, “Mike”. Spending over $200 at this restaurant was unfortunate since the service was horrible and the food was okay but not for the price. I understand why BYOB italian restaurants have more respect.
