Yanagi Sushi - Markham

We visited the restaurant for lunch on a Friday afternoon, so it was not very busy. The restaurant had a cozy and relaxed atmosphere with charming décor. We ordered Teriyaki Beef and Tempura dishes, along with Firecracker Roll and California Roll. The meal began with tasty Miso soup and a nicely presented salad. The main dishes were also beautifully presented. The Teriyaki Beef was outstanding - the best I've ever had. The Tempura was crispy and delicious. My wife loved the sushi rolls. If we lived in Toronto, we would definitely become regular customers.

I really enjoy this restaurant because the food is delicious and the prices are very affordable.

I love their chicken katsu. This restaurant is situated in the Food Court of First Markham Place and has been in business for over 15 years.

Used to go to this place all the time when I was younger for the Katsu/Sushi Combo #3.

The main course was also nicely presented. The Teriyaki Beef was the best I have ever had. The Tempura was crispy and wonderful. My wife said the rolls we excellent. If we lived in Toronto we would be regulars.
