Skewersguy Japanese Bbq Markham On

I ordered the combo B with chicken soft bone skewers for $20 per person. I was disappointed because despite the restaurant's name being Skewer Guy, there were not many skewer options in the combo. The rice in the lobster soup was strange and the soup itself was thin and tasteless. Additionally, the edamame, French fries, and seaweed salad seemed to be straight from Costco. Overall, I was not impressed with the quality of the food.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The service was exceptional, with attentive and helpful staff. We decided to order the set dinner, and out of the four of us, we chose the steamed lobster and cheese options. Surprisingly, the cheese dish tasted even better than the steamed lobster. The scallop skewers were delicious, as were the black cod and eel dishes. The skewers were fresh and packed with flavor. The patio had a great ambiance with lovely lighting - a perfect spot to hang out with friends. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again!
