Blue Nose Fish N' Chips - Markham

Don't believe the ten year old menu someone posted. They don't have a Monday Special anymore. So clean and excellent food. I will mention the spotless washroom, as if the place is brand new but it's not a new business. It's been here for years. The last time I was here predates Google. She even has a framed hull spike from the Bluenose II and little models all over the restaurant. The fries were perfect like the best chip truck and they are famous for the fish and chips and 82 flavours of chicken wings. Yes, 82. It's a combo: delicious food done right, excellent hospitality, cleaner than most restaurants; the Bluenose has personality. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was my first time trying this place. I usually go to the halibut house across the street, figured I should try this at least one. I got a regular halibut and chips, I was severed a plate with 3/4 chips and 1/4 halibut. Chips were okay but the halibut was terrible. Small in portion but also extremely dry. Either it was kept frozen forever or just overcooked. I’ve had plenty of fish and chips and they might just have the worst fish I’ve tried. Most likely new owners as I heard this place was okay. Wife and I stopped by this place after leaving the hospital. Great price and place for wings, had the wings and garlic parm fries. Wife had halibut and greek salad. Delicious food, great prices, and even better atmosphere! will be coming back very soon.
