Blue Nose Fish N' Chips - Markham

My Uncle told me to do this. The lady who served us carried the whole dining room on her shoulders. Went above and beyond, very motherly. Food was also able to match, great experience.

The oil on the fish was really heavy… and not outside was not crispy, they also only have a really really really small portion of tartar sauce (see the picture)Its $20pp without drink plus tips

My wife and I often have the haddock and chips here. The fries are abundant and tasty and fresh. The batter for the fish has been tried and true over the years and is addicting. The service is lovely with what I assume is a family-run business, and my wife always leaves with a smile from the waitress. I do notice that sometimes the filets can vary in size but I also understand there's different shapes of fish, and even still, I'm rarely not stuffed at the end of the meal.

First time@ Blue Nose tonight.We were greeted by Daphane also our waitress. You will never find someone like her. Her Hospitality was a real change from the everyday. My wife and I decided to get the Special which was 2 piece Haddock with Homemade friescoleslaw and Greek Salad. It was perfect amount of food for two people.The Place filled up just after we arrived. Daphane was the only one in the dining room, but she was dancing away everyone was getting that personal touch. Orders were coming out of the kitchen in a reasonable time . The Food was delicious I highly recommend, just be a little patient. We don't live in Markham, but will make this our Fish and Chip place. The Greek salad was tasty. Maybe next time I'll get the Souvlaki.Nick could tell we wanted to pay and had the debt machine ready for us. Wish we discovered this place sooner. But its all good ?Well Done Nick and staff. Went to purchase a takeout order for a poutine and the gentleman refused my order because I was going to pay by debit.Said he wouldn’t waste his time for only fries on a debit transaction.He seems to forget that he served me a few weeks back allowing me to do the same transaction.Glad to let other know
