Die Eigentümerfamilie des Wirthshof-Campings betreibt nun auch das öffentliche Restaurant am Eingang zum Campingplatz.Es heisst nun Hofschenke by Wirthshof und wurde vollständig renoviert und völlig neu - sensationell schön - eingerichtet.Auf der Karte finden Gross und Klein köstliche Gerichte.Meine Tochter liess sich Spätzle schmecken und ich genoss den Zwiebelrostbraten.Alles erstklassig. Der Service herzlich ubd professionell.Absolut empfehlenswert. Reservation ebenfalls.

Let me say it straight away: plates are big size, dishes are huge, prices are OK. If you expect just that - you will be satisfied. Want more? Read on. I have been only twice (for dinner) and each time had a "sampler" or "mixed grill" type of meal. Food quality is just average. Grilled meat like anywhere. Ready made sauces from supermarket. Saesoning, well, if you have chance do yourself a favour and ask chef to use just one forth of his usual amount of salt. Everything is crazy salty, it kills an otherwise nice concept of potato wedges. Beer selection is adequate. I do not have good experience with local wine, perhaps you shoud pick italian wine. For the look and feel, climate of the venue there is nothing to mention. Just a place to eat. Unlike they advertise they close early during winter season (even at 9 pm). You better speak or at least understand German. There is no English menu. The staff is very friendy and helpful (for German standards) but language misunderstandings if you speak English are common.

Beilagensalat war Top. HauptgerichtSchwabenteller war gut. Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Solide Qualität, kann man gut Essen gehen.
