Castillo's Mexican Food - Mariposa

Excellent prices and good portions! The menu options provide enough food. I ordered the tostada and found a mountain of fresh salad with not too many beans on a crispy corn tortilla, the avocado and salsa made it fresh and fill. The children loved rice and beans children's plates and the little ones ordered a burrito (that they eat halfway... . The service staff was welcoming and friendly and the decor was bright and interesting to look at. The children held details and noticed them.

Found this jewel of a restaurant by chance, good we have made a good choice, Amazing food and staff was very nice and attentive to us. The food was good for two, unless you are a great eater, recommend everyone visiting this small town.

Okay, we stayed in Mariposa so we could visit the Yosemite National Park and we checked out at the hotel. We are looking for a place to eat lunch before we are on the street and we remember to see this little Mexican restaurant on the last night walk around the old town of Mariposa. We went to him today and it turned out to be an excellent choice: the place is very well decorated and clean and bright! The service was excellent and the food was also excellent! definitely a place to check if you are ever in Mariposa!

I was really hungry after my hike, and for a place to sit and dive. The restaurant is small, but its portion sizes are not. You get an order from tortilla chips and salsa. The staff is also very friendly. I ordered my food and in about 10 or so minutes I was served to my meal. The items on the menu are cheap and the portion sizes also fit. Overall a good place to sit and eat.

I am Japanese. It was very delicious. It was a good dish to share with children.
