Contribuiți la feedbackThe food is good, the hibachi chefs are fun and sweet. The service, not so much. However, this is only from one server. She is a shorter Asian woman with a thick accent, and she is the meanest and most miserable server we have ever had. We have spent over 400 dollars at Hibachi Master in the last couple of months. We sit at the hibachi and drink quite a bit, we love to have a good time here. We always tip the hibachi cook cash and we always tip over 20% to our servers. Our checks get racked up and as former servers ourselves, we treat waitstaff very kindly. There is no reason for this woman to be so atrociously rude. When we went a few days ago we had our friends from out of town with us. We were excited to show them our favorite spot to eat out and have a good time. Our friends are vegan, and they decided not to eat anything from the hibachi because they didn 't want to irritate the cook by requesting no eggs, butter, etc. When they told the server they wouldn 't be eating from the hibachi and were ordering sushi and appetizers instead, she paused, rolled her eyes and said So, you 're not going to eat from the hibachi? and our friends said no. She then sighed dramatically and muttered something in her native language. (Likely talking about us) I had also ordered a shot of Captain and she brought me Captain on the rocks. I was very polite and told her I had just wanted a straight shot. She, again, rolled her eyes and stormed off. Inside the glass was clearly the same Captain with the ice strained out. It was extremely watered down, and chilled now. I wanted a straight shot. The fact that she probably spitefully strained out the ice and felt like she was getting me back for our friends lack of ordering from the hibachi is infuriating. Aside from this, she never returned. We didn 't get another drink, any refills, nobody pre-bussed our tabletops. Prior to this last experience, the time before we had this same server and my fiancé and his friend were ordering sake bombs. This clearly infuriated her because she gave them attitude again, and she also, never returned that time either. This woman is just awfully mean and really shouldn 't be working on the floor. We have decided that we will never go back based on that server alone. This is a shame because we love to support small business and we spend a ton of money there when we do go. This isn 't a threat to try to get something from Hibachi Master, this is just honest criticism. We are now on a search for a new hibachi and sushi spot.
Terrible service! horrible service! the owner is a rude nasty person. I ordered noodles that came with onions that wasn 't listed on the menu. I am allergic to onions. When I noticed that it was covered in onions. I asked the server if I could order something else. The owner came out from the back and told me that I would have to pay for another meal. I told him that I didn 't understand why I would have to pay for another meal if I didn 't eat the first one. I told him he could check the cameras. But it was clear that I didn 't eat that plate of food. He started yelling and stating that, you want free food . Mind you no one said anything about getting free food. I just wanted to re-order a replacement that I could eat that would send me to the hospital. He said he could discount the $16.00 plate for half off. I told him no, that I didn 't not feel comfortable paying for food I didn 't eat. And that I was NOT GOING TO ORDER ADDITIONAL PLATE AND PAY FOR THAT IN ON TOP of that. He ended up calling the police. And the police told him that this wouldn 't go anywhere in court. And the judge would very upset to even review the case. I ended up just paying for the plate. And the officers that came apologize to me even know they didn 't do anything wrong. And stated that you should never have to pay for food that you didn 't even eat. And that they multiple calls to this restaurant for VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. All I have to say that this is horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible service and the owner of this restaurant shouldn 't even own a restaurant with this type of attitude. They only care about the money your experience or health does not matter . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE! EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I have enjoyed being able to get Hibachi take out for one as easily as walking up to their truck. The food quality is above average and the portions are generous. When comparing the food with similar dine in Hibachi restaurants, Master Hibachi holds up despite being cheaper due to its no frills and customizable approach to toppings.
Good food and good portions for the price. I got the steak hibachi and it was delicious, seasoned and cooked well nothing was overdone.
I would give this location a 9/10. The food was amazing but the vibes were off, very quiet restaurant despite being busy....maybe that was because everyone was enjoying their delicious food! I got the hibachi lunch (chicken fried rice with miso soup and the ginger salad). I will be coming back!
