From the minute you walk in, you feel transported to another era of the finer things , including well-appointed, colorful rooms, luxurious soaps and linens, peaceful reading nooks and verandas. The restaurant is beautiful and offers a variety of dinner options, full bar, and complete breakfast for those who choose. The staff (Jennifer! is warm and friendly. The town is quaint and boasts great antiquing, a marvelous county museum and beautiful public spaces. Marion--and the Elgin--is one of our favorite getaways when we are in the area. Thank you!

We got married at The Elgin on 6/24/23, and it was the most magical day of my life! The Elgin's staff make sure every detail is perfect. Our family rented out the hotel's third floor, and it felt so warm like home! I can't wait to go back and experience the other luxurious suites that The Elgin has to offer! We have stayed here twice now while visiting family. It is wonderful to see this beautiful building restored and available to enjoy again!
