Fujiyama Japanese Steakhouse - Marion

My husband and I went there after church last Sunday evening. It wasn’t overly crowded yeah they were busy. We eat in the dining room instead of at the hibachi grills. The food was excellent. The service was fantastic we definitely were not disappointed.

Great hibachi. Chef was excellent and entertaining. My California Roll was great too. Parents got the filet mignon and loved that. (The one entree was prepped in the back due to seafood allergy and they were super helpful and understanding with it. Wait staff was awesome and prompt. Bathrooms were super clean. Decor was lovely. Only thing I noticed was the floor was very slick. Almost like it was recently waxed and actually had to be cautious a bit.

Great food and great experience. We enjoyed the Hibachi dinner. I had the Chicken Hibachi and my wife the salmon Hibachi. We also ordered the California Roll and roasted Calamari. Everything tasted excellent and the price was right. Our check was about $68 for two adults and a child. They even brought a dessert to my wife's birthday. The service was excellent and the waitress was very nice. Our Hibachi cook was fun and entertaining. I'll be back soon.

Food was excellent. We went for a birthday celebration and they did not disappoint. Chief was funny and a great cook. Family had a wonderful time.

Fujis doesn't quite deliver the classic Hibachi flavor I'm accustomed to. However, I really enjoyed the mushroom broth soup, even more so than the well-known ginger dressing salad. I ordered the Giant City Roll, which was filled with spicy tuna, spicy crab, masago, and more—it was quite substantial. The chicken and steak hibachi dinner with noodles was made to order, which is something I rarely experience. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that I often have enough left over for a midnight snack at home.
