In a magical and evocative location I discovered a well-kept restaurant with a unique welcome. The great food, original and tasty appetizers, first good and plentiful and second unique and delicious. The staff really nice and prepared, a great wine cellar and a welcome aperitif offered by the staff make dinner a unique and very enjoyable experience. I'll definitely come back!

What about this restaurant, just gorgeous. Located in the central area of Marino, cozy, clean and attentive to antiCovid precautions. We booked it with the fork by trusting some reviews. You're in advance, she's out of it. We were greeted by the waiter, a very nice person, with a stream of prosecco So, consulted the menu, we started with crispy panzerotti, a speci ravioloni filled with ricotta, fried and accompanied with a sauce of peppers, very delicate. The first dish was chosen different from each of us and they were all one better than the other. Later we had the pleasure of knowing the owner, even cook, that in illustrating the dishes, shining his eyes making the enormous passion that nourishes for the kitchen. There is a good and nutritious selection of wines. I did not find a single negative note, even in the price where the fork discount was taken into account without any difficulty. I highly recommend it to those who should be there.

After 34 years, I finally tasted (and devoured! a risotto with scampi (and not cream of scampi! Exceptional service, just the dishes. Having had the opportunity to taste also the fish soup ordered by other diners, I can only give 5 stars. Price online! Congratulations to all the staff! Tamara

Osteria Cantina Colonna is a small but pretty bistro (class restaurant) located in Marino, municipality of Castelli Romani overlooking Lake Albano, at the gates of Rome. The restaurant is located in the historic centre of the town and is reached by descending a small road to the left of the town. Entering you immediately perceive the kindness, friendliness and education of the staff of the room. The environment is intimate, well furnished and there are many wine bottles in sight that create atmosphere. Food is delicious and well cooked and raw materials are of quality. We were led by the sommelier/personal room for wine matching and we took a local red of Frascati which cost 28 euros but of stratospheric quality (excellent value for money). I found this restaurant with thefork at least 20% but I would also return without discount because it is a restaurant of a span over others. If it had been in Rome the prices had to double. You deserve five stars but even more if possible.

If you happen to go to Marino at the Roman Castles do not forget to stop to eat at the Restaurant Cantina Colonna . Not the usual restaurant but a place where dishes are prepared and served with care and love. All the dishes offered are delicious and the appropriate portions. To note the Van Gogh cutters, the white boar ragù noodles, the delicious duck, the cheek with red wine reduction . For 40 euros per skull wins the Cantina Colonna at a coffee table!!!! I strongly recommend it!!! !
