I didn't even finish an order because I didn't want to be trimmed by a worker when I just asked to have food that would not be exposed to excess germs. love jersey mikes, great subs, regrettably I can't enjoy it on camp pendleton.
Eating was absolutely wonderful, the customer service on the other side was terrible. we came in uniform, and after we gave up our order, we were told to wait outside, meanwhile a gaggle of people in civilian audition who were ordered after us were allowed to stay in the load and wait for their food. I feel despised as a member of the service, but at the same time I am surprised because it is a military base.
I just walked in today, and there were only two young blonde girls and it was super busy so I know they were challenged. they didn't let the haste on their positive energy and great customer service. they were both super sweet and so accommodating for us! I love jersey mikes sandwiches, but I'm just back for this woman! they made my experience 10/10!
The sandwiches are really good ...make sure you enter your SharePoints at the register.
Jersey Mikes Subs inside Camp Pendleton Bases is the perfect spot for a quick bite while on base!First and foremost, this establishment has moved from its old location in the base to a new one. Previously, it was located nearby the gas station, now it is located inside the same building as the MCX. With that said, the store is exactly how you would expect. You enter, you order, you see your sub (or food being made), then you leave. Due to COVID, there is not dine-in capabilities but there are plenty of outdoor dining area just outside the MCX.This particular location really gives good portions for your orders. They do not try to shortchange you whenever you order bacon etc. Customer service is also decent, they are busy and they are obviously trying to serve you as fast as they can with a smile but over the service is decent. The prices are what you would normally expect from any other location, though I think since this is on the Camp Pendleton base, there is not tax upon payment. The parking lot is plentiful, even though it shares a parking lot with the MCX and other business nearby, but you will definitely have a parking spot.Overall, this location is pretty good! I am sure to return since it is convenient and delicious. Give it a try!
