Salt Restaurant Bar - Marina del Rey

Chicken marsala $46?! steak sandwich $48! side are separated. too expensive for what it is. the hummerbisque was terrible as if he were from a dose. calamari was good. overall, this place does not determine the high prices it calculates. there is a beautiful terrace overlooking the marina, but it was too cold in the night we were there. So we sat inside and it was outdated and uncomfortable. the decoration was visually unattractive and uninspired. in total no nice atmosphere. the restaurant was almost empty on a Sunday night and it is easy to understand why.

Big Sunday brunch. the view and the ambiente are prefect for a brunch with a few friends or a special person. the service was always stellar every time I gedimt.

We were at the hotel marina del rey and this restaurant is connected. have been sitting here for a Saturday morning breakfast. husband had the blueberry pancakes and I had the smoked ham benedict. I would recommend bringing either an enormous appetit or a friend if they want to order the pancakes - the stick was enormous! we shared the top plate to begin. the yogurt and the poppy bath was delicious and the fruit was fresh and sweet. Even the coffee (of course! was perfection. our server was attentive without being intrusive. a wonderful breakfast with magnificent views of the marina. Our only wish was that the weather would have been warmer that it would have enjoyed sitting on the dock.
