Contribuiți la feedbackI usually love this place, but this time the waitress took forever everything we needed that was luke warm, drinks remained empty the largest part of the visit and the bread tasted as it was from the night before. I love this place, but this visit was disappointing.
This chain restaurant needs to step it up in order to survive. The food is okay; that's about the only positive thing that can be said about my experience. I had a party of about 10 and our total time of service was nearly 3 hours. The waitress told us how the soup of the day... was a day old; went downhill from there. 2 people never received their food, had to ask for it again. Everyone who did get food reported that the food was cold. The food isn't exactly amazing either. I can tell this experience of mine isn't a one-off. As of my writing this, the restaurant's average rating sits near three stars.
Most recent Cobb County Health Score was 45/100... Disgusting. Food was good but that's about it. It took 10 minutes for a server to come to the table and we had to ask a manager for one. We had to ask him several times for the sides that we ordered. A glass of wine sat at the bar for 15 minutes. 50% of the lettuce in my salad was wilted and turning brown. I expect green lettuce for the $12 I paid.
The place was a bit empty. My daughter wanted to try a new place for her birthday. They didn't even acknowledge it. No silly song or weird dance, nothing. The drinks all were watered down. Even the wine wasn't good. The bar didn't carry much and they had Pepsi products. The food wasn't seasoned. The bread that came with the spinach dip was burned. Not a lot of dressing on the salad, it was like they put down the dressing then put salad on top. My daughter said her noodles were hard and not enough shrimp. My dish only had 1 scallop and the muscles were still in the shell. We didn't get the oil and herbs and cheese with the bread. They didn't have fried mozzarella so they substituted for fried ravioli, which wasn't bad but not enough dipping sauce for all. The fried Mac n cheese balls were good but they were tiny. The stuffed mushrooms were ok. A bit dry and again no flavor. The calamari was strange. There were pieces I recognized and others that looked like tiny octopi that were fried too hard. The only things we liked were the butter on the steak, the potatoes, broccoli, chicken parm lasagna and we ordered WAY more than that. Cool thing for the kids was that they got to write on the table covering with crayons. This was a wasted tank of gas coming from Decatur, Ga. The food was too expensive and expectations were high before going. This was a big let down. Sam was great. I ended up coming home and eating leftover subway.
POOR MANAGEMENT, MISSING FOOD (3 times), NO CARE FOR FOOD ALLERGIES, and NO APOLOGIES! I have never been so continuously dissatisfied by the management at a restaurant. The servers were polite but could do nothing but apologize over and over again. The most recent occurrence was this evening when I picked-up a to-go order to have a small bite with my mother before heading home. She didn't want to eat at the restaurant already because of the horrible experience we had mid-March, but I wanted to give them second chance and change her mind for future meals. Instead I was convinced to never return to this location again! They did not have my entire order, even though it was place over an hour before closing on a Friday night, the beginning of the weekend rush. When the young server let me know and saw I was unhappy about the situation, he went to speak with the manager but the manager never came out to speak to me himself. Instead the manager sent the server out to say the missing part of my order would be removed from by bill. No apologies and no attempt to improve the situation by management, just HORRIBLE customer service! Once we arrived at my mother's house, we saw that our Butternut Tortellacci had NO Butternut Squash (one of the main ingredients). Additionally, the prosciutto that was requested to be put on the side (do to my food allergies) was put in a container on the side AFTER someone already mixed some in the sauce on the noodle. So not only did we pay $19 for cheese noodles and didn't get the full meal we ordered, but I had to get a different dinner on my way home because they tried to hide their screw-up (which could have cause me severe bowel issues for the rest of the night, if my mother hadn't noticed the meat hiding in the noodles).
