Mcgehee’s Catfish - Marietta

Went to enjoy a lonely dinner with a broken shoulder after losing a friend I knew for 46 years. Hoping to enjoy relax. The owner was rude when I told her my fish and fries were cold which was unusual and she said I came in with an attitude! Now you tell me…is that any way to treat a person?!? I suggest you hire a real waitress who can treat your customers appropriately before you lose all your local customers. I will let others know how ugly you are to people. And my WATER tasted like DISH SOAP!

The place to go for catfish in southern Oklahoma! The fish the homemade coleslaw, pickled green tomatoes, homemade hush puppies and the homemade fried pies are all on point! Make the effort to come to this family run restaurant ????

The best catfish ever, amazing green tomatoe relish, hush puppies, and hand cut fries. Oh, don't forget the cooked to order fruit pies are unbelievable.Well worth the drive.

The appetizers and sides were delicious, but I found the overall cost to be too expensive as I am not a fan of all-you-can-eat dining. The large fried cake was a standout dish.

I can only think of a few restaurants that have been open for over 30 years and still maintain the same high quality that keeps customers coming back, and McGehee's is one of them. I first visited their location near Oklahoma City, and now that I live near Fort Worth, I still consider them to have the best catfish in both states. They cater to all types of diners, from large groups to couples, and offer a variety of delicious seafood options, including fresh fried catfish cakes. Located at the end of a rural road, they are easy to find with directions from I-35. The short and simple menu is easy to navigate and makes for a great dining experience. Overall, the first visit is always worth it, and you'll likely find yourself coming back for more.
