Terrible management! My experience was awful. They were out of most of the soups and only had 2 or 3 that you could order. I and several others waited over 35 minutes for our to go food orders. They were serving the customers who were dining in first and packing up the to go orders last., They were out of chicken for salads and sandwiches…how does that happen? Mismanagement!! It was just a ridiculous experience that I will not repeat because I will not be returning! Such a poorly ran restaurant. The other locations in the Atlanta area are nothing like this!
Placed an order. Jamal, I believe, the manager turned the lights off on us as we were checking our $75 order and said they were closed as we began questioning missing items. When I asked for the owners information he said he's out of the country. When he was questioned about his actions, he said he didn't see anything wrong with turning the lights off on customers, they're closed. I have never received service like this. I was extremely disappointed after spending the entire day at the hospital across the street. I filled out an online complaint, was asked to call the general manager, but he's never there amd no one is interestedin taking a messageor can say when he'llbe there. I even sent a follow up email for him to call me. No response. I was refunded for this horrible service and left and went to the Kennesaw location where I received excellent service. FIX IT! No one should have to experience this.
Very disappointed in the service at this location. We have had bad experiences multiple times and decided to give them one more chance to make it right. I am lactose intolerant and despite asking for no cheese, they put cheese on there anyway. Multiple items in our meal were incorrect. They deleted one of the meals we ordered so we had to wait for it to be prepared. They didn't rush the order. We waited a long time again. We told them and wrote down the order. They repeated it back and still got it wrong. We tried to speak to them and all then did was say sorry but made zero effort to make it right. In addition, one restroom was broken. The second restroom had no soap, no paper towels and the hand dryer is broken. I even went to the restroom after an employee and she didn't fix it. We gave them opportunity to make it right and told them we had bad experiences in the past and they still did nothing and got it all wrong. Unfortunately, we can not recommend this McAlister's Deli.
Overall OK experience. Service was OK, some employees seemed like they were not on top of things while others were. Wait time was pretty long considering how many customers there were. Table number system needs some work. Customers were given numbers, but then employees would grab food and then walk around confused as to which table it belonged to. Maybe they were newer hires. They were out of a couple items. Ended up getting the BLT+A, but they had no avocados. It was still a good sandwich though. I also got broccoli cheddar soup which was good.
