Arroyo Grille - Maricopa

We had an excellent experience at this restaurant! We stopped in for lunch without a reservation and were seated right away. I tried the mushroom Swiss burger, and it was absolutely delicious! The burger was made with fresh black Angus beef, topped with mushrooms and onions, all in a delightful brioche roll. It was the best burger I've had in a long time. I also ordered a side of fruit, which was incredibly fresh and sweet. My husband was just as satisfied with his meal. The service was fantastic, with the staff being very attentive in refilling drinks and taking care of us. I will definitely be coming back!

The restaurant is cozy, but the tables are well-spaced. It seems they offer outdoor dining, which will likely be nice as the weather improves. They did ask if we had a reservation, so it's great to know that's an option. We've lived in Maricopa for 16 years and have often felt disappointed with the fine dining options in the area, so it’s taken us too long to discover this little gem. We can't wait to return!

I ordered what was probably the most unremarkable fry bread I've ever had from a restaurant associated with the Ak-Chin brand. It was truly disappointing, and I have no intention of returning. Given that it's run by an Indian-owned company, I expected the fry bread to be exceptional, but when it arrived, I instantly regretted my choice. The biggest surprise was how the meat tasted almost like it had been microwaved and prepared days earlier. I might go back for drinks, but I would definitely skip the food. I really wish I had taken a photo to share, but honestly, if you’ve ever had authentic fry bread, you’ll understand that this just doesn’t measure up.

The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is top-notch. I wish I could visit more often! However, the restaurant can be quite noisy, making it sometimes difficult to have a conversation.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The service was fantastic, and our food arrived quickly, hot, and absolutely delicious. My mom and I shared the Arroyo salad—sorry, I forgot to take a picture of it—and the chicken pesto. The salad was so good that we finished it before I even thought to grab my phone! My dad ordered the short ribs, which were incredibly tender and full of flavor; they’ve quickly become one of my favorites. This place is definitely worth a visit, but be sure to make a reservation!
