Absolutely horrible. Drove over an hour on Sunday for lunch. At 1:00 they were out of dessert, the salad had brown leaves. (They close at 2:30). Could not order from the menu..only had the buffet. When we left at 1:15 2 pieces of baked chicken, 6 pieces of fried and they just sat a table of 11 down!! Where did Mr Eddie go?!?!?Absolutely horrible food...horrible! When I ask when more food was coming out..all I was told they've cooked all morning and it has ran out....well....close the place up!!!!!...it's a buffet!!!On a positive note....the waitress was great!...felt sorry for her

Half the table was finished with their meals by the time the other half received their meals. No condiments provided. Just a bad experience. The staff was courteous but I won't be visiting again.

What a train wreck. Seafood buffet with crablegs, but didnt get crablegs. Waited in line for 10 minutes then waitress came out and said they were not putting crabs on buffet but they would bring them to your table. Asked waitress about crablegs twice she said they were coming. After about 35 minutes asked waitress again then she said they were no longer bringing them to table. Went to buffet again and about 20 people were waiting on crablegs. They brought out what looked like 5 clusters. Huge disappointment will not be going back. $140 for 2 adults and a teenager.

My first time dinning here..In one word ..AMAZING!THE BEST FOOD EVER!!I tasted my mother's fresh fried corn, her beef tips and rice and tears fell down my face...my mother passed away in 2016 ..I NEVER expected to taste her cooking again..Thank you to THE OAKS RESTAURANT..I don't know who the cook is but you and my mother must be kin..The staff here was also very friendly making me feel right at home .

My wife and my self went to this location because we were in the area and it just happen to be our anniversary . So when we arrived we were seated and went to the buffet to look at what they had for dinner the food looked like something you just found thrown out behind the establishment in the garbage. The okra was so old it had turn black the chicken and fish both were so hard and taste like old burnt grease . The gravy that was on the bar had been sitting un attended so long it had a dried dark brown film over the top because it had not been stirred in hours obviously . The rice was crunchy because it was under cooked. And when i address the waitress about the issue she said oh its just because we have not had many customers in a few HOURS since lunch this was now 7:30pm that is correct admittance to the food had been out longer than health laws allow pretty much . I asked to speak to owner she said oh the owners son is here i said he should have to take a plate and go around said bar and eat what he is trying to charge $15 per plate to customers . When he did come out he made excuses that they were short handed yet they had 5 waitress walking around talking and having pow wow's... He even said he would eat everything on the bar like it was and admitted to knowing the food had been out to long and said he was working on it .. I Personally have owned and ran a food establishment for 8 years and know serving food that has been sitting out for to long is not only a health hazard but it is illegal . After about 5 mins of debate with the owners son and hearing excuse after excuse we just walked and i told him i would be leaving a review on google of how horrible his establishment was he did not care he was content with what his establishment was giving to customers. However i highly recommend anyone who wants a good meal to go to JIMs or SONEYS BBQ we later in the week eat at both of these establishments and both were clean sold fresh food had great staff and were on time with giving the customer what they were paying for .. THE OAKS SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR BEING UNSANITARY AND HEALTH VIOLATIONS PERIOD !
