Upon return on Saturday that table was suddenly not available and we were given some other table in the back. We asked for a table outside instead and were told they were unavailable because it was going to rain while other people were being seated just there as we spoke. So we just walked away. Perhaps they simply don 't want foreigners.
We visited today for lunch (without a reservation) and were very pleased to get a table. Care was taken by the staff to ensure our dog was happy too (a table a little out of the way of others and a bowl of water provided). The service was excellent throughout. We ordered from the 38€ menu and for our mains had filets de perche, which we’ve had at many restaurants in the area this was the best we’ve had. Small but very well priced wine list and we enjoyed a Pouilly Fume which went well with our fish starters (tartare of trout, and whitebait) and the filets de perche. We shall definitely return.
I had a very good experience in this restaurant. We went in a big group, and everything was good, from to beginning to the end. I took the menu at ~34€ (if I remember well), and I had an amazing starter (Tartare de Féra), the Filets de perche come with French fries and a salad. And I had a perfect dessert (Café Gourmand) that let me taste different things. For this price and the product freshness I definitely recommend this place. The only thing is that is a bit noisy, but the view on the lake is totally worth it.
We were lucky to get a last minute table in this restaurant for Sunday lunch. This restaurant was not our first choice in the area but it did not disappoint and we will definitely go there again. The set menu offered good value but we just shared three starters and then had a main each. The carpaccio of fera was delicious and we tried a new fish to us similar to whitebait with a lovely tartare sauce. The fillets des perches were excellent, very fresh and cooked to perfection. The chips were good but the salad was a little lack lustre and there was not enough of it. Relaxed service and lovely wine meant we enjoyed a lovely lunch in a popular location.
Everything is said in the title. However, I think this type of restaurant should serve something other than fries accompanying excellent dishes. Steam or other vegetables seem more appropriate to me and above all finer.
