Mr Freeze - Marengo

The shakes, malts, and parfaits at this restaurant are excellent. Located just 10 minutes away from the Illinois Railway Museum.

The restaurant did not have any smoothies available, which was disappointing as my child loves them. However, the server went above and beyond to make a shake that was similar to a smoothie. It was the first time I heard my child say something was great. They did a fantastic job. I have been back several times since and always enjoyed their delicious ice cream treats.

Service is a little slow, something that should take 3 minutes to make takes 10 minutes. The wait is worth it, though. The food and ice cream are amazing.

Love the soft serve but Very Slow. Operated by inexperienced high schoolers. Order management is poor at best. Heath concerns with employees handling money and food without washing hands

2 stars because my friend’s ice cream was good but not my lemon slushie. I notified the blond girl that the slushie was not a slushie. She got offended very fast and tried to defend herself when I just told her in a polite way. My friend later told me that the machine was not filled all the way and the girl told me that she couldn’t do anything about it and it wasn’t freezing. If it wasn’t freezing why are you selling it. Then I notified another coworker but he said he could not do anything about it either. She had a really negative attitude to every customer.
