Verdi's Bistro - Marco Island

Excellent menu with lots of variety. excellent eating. I dive there every time we visit marco island. book the book quickly.

With a reservation our food arrived at The food was at best room temperature, out of the four meals ordered were cold. We let the sever know and he offered to get us another dinner, it took over an hour to get our entrees, I was not going to take a chance on another hour for a cold dinner. I had my year old father with me and he couldn’t sit there for that long. After discussing this with the manger he gave us a discount on a bill. Very disappointed as this used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but we will never return. Too many great restaurants on Marco to waste another evening on this one.

Outdoor seats incredibly hot in direct sun. Everyone sitting outside complained about it. outside seats should not be offered until the sun has fallen on the sky. arrogant had a attitude

There was nothing special about our meal. salates were prefabricated and devastated. my men Chilean sea bass was just ok. I am gf and understand that it is difficult, but they should be better prepared for gf customers. my desserts the banana perfume was definitiw subpar. sitting outside was definitiw a plus and service was ok.

Food was good, most of us had some type of fish entree. Sea Bass was good, but small portion. The sides with the dishes (mostly rice, spinach and plain fingerling potatoes) were pretty bland. Service was somewhat attentive but not very engaging. When we sat down there was an overpowering scented candle burning behind us that smelled like it belonged in a bathroom that we blew out. It was not a smell that enhanced our dining experience!
