Del Rio Comida Deluxe - MARBLE FALLS

The food and service were both great, but we were very disappointed that the golf fish were not available, although we were there early on Saturday night. our selection of foods were delicious quesadillas with garnel and goat cheese, crumbs and garnel cakes, mesquite grilled bass, good wine. Positive: well prepared eating, fish perfectly cooked, innovative and spicy decisions, good service, well thought out wein list. marble if urgently needs a beautiful, fine escaping as this. negative: the 2 person posts were too small, attractive rough wooden table tops were so uneven I thought my glasses would overturn, only 3 red wee through the glass, many meat dishes, but light on the fish and seafood, the total prices were a bit too high. because there is still a new restaurant, we will come back, but I will call first to see if they have the golf fish!

Very good new Marble Falls restaurant. Unique dishes with a kick to them! Service was friendly and efficient. I'll be back.

Welcome addition to Marble Falls but organization seems to be an issue. There is still no sign of any kind. Advertised a brunch on Friday night for Sunday 10-2. Showed up at 10:30 and the sign was down and was told it didn’t start until 11. Really. We left and didn’t come back. You can’t do that in a small town for very long.

This was our second time to Del Rio. Food and service was great both times. Have tried several appetizers and all are very good, specifically like the Campeche Cakes. All entrees have been great. Staff is well trained an continuously checking that everything is going well. Keep up the good work.

Marked would not recommend because there isn’t a “maybe.” Three couples, four received drinks promptly, two, gin/tonic and dry martini, took over 30 minutes to get. Actually received and ate flaming queso as appetizer before the two drinks arrived. Had to finally go to the bar and find a manager. He apologized and said he would “make it up to us.” Received $2.00 off our bill....wow. So, I might try it again but will, and already have, tell of my experience to anyone who asks. Food was good, two ribeye steaks, Colorado w/rice and beans, crab cakes w/salad and quesadillas. Both ribeye steaks had more fat than expected, yes, marbling is expected but there were large chunks of fat. What would have made me happy.....the first drinks gin/tonic and martini that took over 30 minutes to get should have been free. The $2.00 off was insulting. Maybe the waitress was new, maybe not. She never even acknowledged that there was an issue with our drinks/service.
