Pane&cioccolato - Marbella

Popped in for drinks and a bun. The restaurant is lovely and the range of cakes and buns is excellent but yet again we found the servers lacking a smile or any friendliness towards us whatsoever. This is such a shame as it encourages us to return.

Parking outside can be very easy or simply impossible. Our first visit we parked directly outside without an issue and the second time we had to park 500yards away. We went in for breakfast snacks, croissants and panne chocolate which were tasty. Drinks orders seemed to get mixed up every time and service was very slow. The female waitress never smiles and isn’t welcoming but the younger male waiter was more friendly but seemed to forget everything! A nice little cafe bar with some good stuff on the menu but could be better organised.

Two years ago I visited this place and it blew me away ! Be of the owners was there enthusing about the food and it’s was sensational. I came so excited to repeat and was left very cold. I borrowed the Gents Toilet and the door would not even shut let alone lock ! The staff were so miserable I thought they were dead ! Ride, unhelpful, didn’t speak. They are still using the stupid goblets for drinks but hey ho ! So I ordered the Avacado Burger with Chicken. What’s happened ? No love in preparing this ? Hardly any chicken and poor quality. Stale lettuce. The Banoffie Pie came, I say came it’s was dumped on front of me in a rude manner by the miserable staff. It was ok but again the magic of the taste had gone. I ordered a coffee to wash it down again disgusting service. In short this place has lost all its Passion and is being run by staff who just don’t care. The DNA has gone, no longer special and I for one won’t be returning. It could be so good but it’s hit rock bottom.

Popped in here for a snack. Prices are ridiculous. Weird menu. Average everything else. Maybe I just don’t get it. I’ll avoid it in future

Food was delicious, high quality and delivered on plates that enhanced the ambiance. Ambiance was so relaxed and friendly we visited multiple times. Definitely worth a visit.
