Contribuiți la feedbackSpent family time here. The majority was pleasant, relaxing, while inviting. All resorts are always a little drive to. Seeing what they do with the land is amazing. This location had a pet turtle, arcade, and 3 pools. The water slide is only open when lifeguard is on duty. 1 employee said 9 am, and the other said 10 am. At another smaller bar, we were told open the bar tender said closed at 6 pm. The main bar is open later. Take a cover-up with you if you go to the pool later in the day since there is no service in the front bar in a swimsuit. The rooms are amazing with a small fridge, espresso machine, plenty of shampoo and conditioner for long hair. Shower, bathroom was amazing with spectacular views! Oddly the bathroom had no fan. Room.service food was better to me than 1 of the main restaurants. Downstairs for eating needed a reservation, that was easy to make. Carrots were not cooked all the way. Food was not hot, needed to eat my lobster fast for the sauce not warm and a bit chewy. Loved all the spices and spreads for the amazing bread! They have 19 pages of spirits! Great, fabulous choices!! Extremely polite staff. The trio sorbet was amazing. The falvors tasted as if they had pieces of real fruit pureed into them all. Will definitely visit again. Everyone should try it!
Oh boy, let me tell you about my wild adventure with Raelene at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. I walked a gazillion properties in just FOUR days to find the perfect spot for my daughter's pre-wedding shenanigans. Little did I know, I was signing up for insanity, walking 16 properties in such a short time! She getting married at Stillwell House downtown so distance is an issue. But then, I stumbled upon Raelene. I didn't even have an appointment, but she graciously gave me her undivided attention. We started on a grand tour of six rooms, and let me tell you, she walked me around that property like a champ, sharing stories along the way. Talk about attention to detail, this woman is on a whole new level! Now, here's the funny part. Even though this place is far from the actual wedding venue and completely blows my budget out of the water, As a single parent my resources are limited. On the way back to the lobby she handed me a little parting gift a bag with Bride Groom Wedding duckies! I GASPED. SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD. CONTRACT PLEASE !!!!!! SHE HAD ME AT THE DUCKIES! TAKE MY MONEY LOL..... I've decided to book it! Why, you ask? Well, it's all because of the amazingness that is Raelene. She made it work for my daughter, and THE DUCK WAS FINAL I just couldn't resist LOL. Let me tell you, if you're looking for a serene and peaceful place without an influx of kids screaming and running around, The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is the place to be. It's not only one of the prettiest locations in the Tuscan area, but Raelene's magic touch sealed the deal for me. So, if you're up for an adventure, and don't mind splurging a little (or a lot), make sure to reach out to Raelene at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. Trust me, she'll make your experience hilariously amazing and leave you booking places you never thought you could afford! ill find a way! I can't wait to see you again. Bella Allexxis Allen
Tucson has plenty of fine resorts, and I've stayed at most of them. The Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain is my runaway favorite. They manage to impress in every way. The entire staff does everything possible to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. That goes for everybody from housekeeping to maintenance to the front desk and everybody else. This alone would be reason enough to stay there. But it's far from the only reason. The property is hidden in a scenic mountainous area. Fantastic hiking trails are just steps away. Walk a few hundred yards, and you'll be in the pristine Sonoran wilderness. No other resort in Tucson has comparable trails right on the property. You can hike, bike, and explore as much or as little as you wish. If pure leisure is your thing, they have two great pools: One with a nice slide for kids and one mainly for adults. You can pay extra for a day pass to their adults-only spa if you want privacy. It's an unparalleled luxury and pampering with a beautiful infinity pool. You are probably reading this because you are wondering whether to stay there. Here are a few caveats to keep in mind. The best and worst thing about this resort is that it's far from everything. Unless you drive 20-30 minutes, your dining options are limited to the restaurants on the property. These restaurants are excellent but pricey. The resort is family-oriented. You will see lots of families with small children. If you're looking for a Vegas-style pool party or a venue for a bachelorette weekend, this probably isn't your scene. (For that, I recommend the JW Marriott at Star Pass. They have a deejay at their pool. The noise/action at the JW is 24/7). Finally, you'll have to do a lot of driving if you want your stay in Tucson to include some of the area's main attractions (Sabino Canyon, Saguaro National Park East and West, Old Tucson, or the Desert Museum). If your time in Tucson is limited and these worthwhile attractions will take up the bulk of your days, you may want to choose a more convenient location. If none of the above caveats apply, experiencing the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain will bring you pure joy. You might fall in love with the place! But beware: Once you've stayed here, you may not be satisfied with any other resort in Tucson or anywhere else.
Beautiful location and ambiance, nice rooms, nice to have NEspresso machines in the rooms. We love the quiet nature views and walking trails BUT self parking is a nightmare, we didn’t want to use the free valet so they quickly tell you it’s a 7 minute walk back from the parking lot if you self park and they don’t offer to shuttle you back in their golf carts. It was 105 degrees and when I asked for them to take us back with the golf cart they said “if we’re not too busy maybe we can pick you up” WTH? The Valet was free but not everyone wants a stranger driving their car. They need to park the valet cars out further and let self parking be the closer lot if they won’t agree to shuttle you back and forth. Sorry but it just seems like the service staff is so tip driven that they could care less about what the customer wants/needs. They even told my husband he was not allowed to load our things onto the bell cart because it was a liability issue and company policy. He ignored them and said he was doing it himself. We just wanted quiet time alone, not to have everyone trying to pamper us at every corner. Restaurants didn’t really have anything we wanted as vegetarians. We would consider coming back here for the location and natural beauty but the parking and food choices need a lot of improvement.
I checked in on July 22 for a 2 night stay with my family at the casita villas (over $1, 000 per room per night). Unfortunately, I had to check-out one day early as my 82 year old mother in Los Angeles was ill and I had to take her to the doctor. Walker, the front desk manager, was very accommodating and said he would speak to his manager the next day about waiving the no check-out early policy and not charge me for early departure. Well, on Monday, July 24, Walker informed me that his management would not waive the policy and they charged me an additional $1, 100 for a night I never stayed. I understand the policy if I affected the hotel 's revenue and took up a room night during their peak season, but July is the hotel 's off-season and lowest occupancy rate. I stayed at the resort the 3 out of the last 4 years, and it seems ever since Marriott took over, the hotel 's service has decreases steadily. I don 't understand how the Ritz Carlton prides itself in top-notice service cannot waive my one night. I even wrote that I could provide evidence of my mother 's illness and doctor visit. It was an unpleasant and painfully expensive outcome.
