Sur - Mar del Plata

While this place also has pastas, meats, and chicken, this restaurant is best known locally for its seafood. I ate lenguado "sur". Flounder with their signature sauce topped with mussels and shrimp with a side of potatoes. The fish was prepared perfectly and I had no complaints over the food. You can tell this place is popular with the locals as it is always full for dinner. You should make a reservation in advance. Prices are similar to eating at a nice restaurant in the US.

The restaurant is one of the most beautiful places I've been, the garden side is whimsical!!! Food was delicious and service (from the sweet beautiful Brittany ) was excellent. Have the Lisa famous cocktail (just not to many they are not afraid to share the alcohol!)

Considered to be the best seafood restaurant in town. Brick walls hung with nautical-themed prints form a cozy backdrop; specials all revolve around fresh fish and shellfish. There's also an extensive wine list .We decided to share two dishes: Arroz con mariscos and the Cazuela with prawns, mussels.We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Good service and good food.

We had lunch at Sur on a Sunday and were not disappointed. Excellent shrimps breaded with coconut and very good Salmon Sur. We will come back.

Very good meal to a very good price. Recomendable! The restaurant has been around a while so it is well esablished. The service is inpeckable
