Sheesh - Mar del plata

The restaurant has recently changed ownership, and in my opinion, it was not a wise decision. We used to adore the previous decor, food, and service. Unfortunately, they have reduced their staff, going from 4 or 5 waitresses to just one for the entire restaurant. The chef now has to help with serving. The quality of the food remains excellent, but the portion sizes have been significantly reduced. When my favorite dish, the lamb special, was brought out, I was disappointed by the smaller portion. The $20 lamb dish used to be much larger. The new decor is also lacking, with basic chairs and tables replacing the more luxurious ones. It's a shame, as our family loved this Turkish cuisine restaurant in St. Louis. We may not return unless they switch back to the previous owner.

The food is still tasty, but the atmosphere has lost its charm. This restaurant was once lovely and inviting, but the new management has stripped away all the unique decorations, leaving it plain.
