Four Corner Teriyaki - Maple Valley

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was very disappointed. The lady who took my order was friendly, but the food itself was not up to standard. The teriyaki chicken tasted like it had been frozen and reheated, with some pieces burned and inedible. It was chewy and lacked teriyaki sauce, making it mostly dry. The pasta salad was bland, tasting mostly like pasta and mayo. The chicken Katsu could have been more flavorful, and the meat was tough. The chicken fried rice tasted like something I could have bought at a grocery store deli, not restaurant quality. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food. While the portions were generous, I would have preferred better quality over quantity.

I would have rated this restaurant higher if not for a few issues. I have visited multiple times in the past and enjoyed the food, but on my most recent visit, the macaroni salad was lacking in flavor (it tasted like plain macaroni and mayonnaise). However, what concerned me the most was the man who took my order. He was wearing an extremely dirty and greasy cap, almost as if he had been using it to wipe his hands. This was very off-putting and made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the staff handling my food.

The portions at this restaurant are very generous. The egg rolls are excellent and the gyoza is delicious! I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.
