Blackwater Cafe - Maple Plain

This was my second time coming in and I had just such a great experience with the staff and atmosphere especially during these difficult times definitely coming again.

Courteous service, delicious coffee and breakfast sandwiches, comfortable and secret. Live Bluegrass band on Wednesday morning! They played beautiful music, but not so loud that I couldn't talk to my friend. It was perfect! This was the first time I visited and was very impressed, I will definitely go back.

I have always received great service from their friendly staff. I love their Thai chicken wrap, flatbreads, and egg sandwiches. We also enjoy their espresso drinks. My kids really enjoy their baked goods. I really appreciate their meeting room for small gatherings. Overall a great place to get a bite to eat and enjoy time with friends and family.

Flat bread pizza was great! Coffee was good too. Prices are a little high for what you get. The grilled cheese was essentially cheese sauce, my daughter didn't want to finish it. The biggest disappointment was the ice cream. Tiniest size scoops I have ever seen for prices.

Zero star if I could. I'm sorry, but my first visit will be my last one (if I'm not desperate). Wing on the drive thru because it was cold and only went through. I was surprised to find boba on her menu and decided to give it a try. We ordered a cappuccino and taro bubble tea. The cappuccino came out as a latte, no foam at all. Everyone would know the difference between a latte and a cappuccino; at least one trained barista. The Boba beads were hard, barely cooked on the inside (Pearls should be chewing). The two girls who work there when I came through did not give any kind mood. Both seemed like teenagers who didn't care about customer service. When I took my orders, the one I spoke with did not seem inviting and knowledgeable about the boba questions or helpful. We are disappointed and upset.
