The Highlander At Rush Creek

I want to start by mentioning that I was only there for a lecture, so I didn't get a chance to play golf or visit the clubhouse. However, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the decor was very tasteful. Overall, it seemed like a lovely place based on my limited experience.

Wow. It’s disappointing to have a busboy at your table call you annoying. We will definitely not be returning. This same kid, Ashton, who was rude to us was also mentioned by someone else I met who had a similar experience. While I appreciate that this place employs a younger staff, it seems some of them aren't mature enough for the job. My friend felt so embarrassed by the whole situation. We've visited this restaurant five times in two months, but this will certainly be our last visit. To add to our frustration, during our first visit, we encountered rude staff in the golf shop when we simply asked for information on lessons and renting a golf cart. It’s a real shame. I hope others don’t have to deal with this kind of treatment.

The setting was lovely for our large group. The walleye platter was generous, just like everything else we ordered.

Honestly heard great things but was letdown, sadly. Ordered at 8pm with party of 6, but didn’t get food until 8:40pm on an empty, but beautiful, patio.Ordered the steak sandwich but it’s an open sandwich concept (not mentioned in the menu) served lukewarm on a single piece of toast — not the vibe. Service was friendly but absent.Not my best dining experience.
