Karolas - Manuel Antonio Costa Rica

Delicious food with an amazing view and service. The seafood risotto and pasta were spectacular and the shrimp carpaccio was a great surprise, very fresh and different from anything we had before. Our waiter, Jose Andres, was perfect and super attentive. Highly recommend this place as an option that differs a bit from what you find in every other restaurant in Manuel Antonio. One of the best meals we had in Costa Rica.

I came here with my wife for dinner as the sun was setting, really beautiful view, the service and the food were excellent. They were able to make accomodations for my wife who is gluten free which we really appreciate. We enjoyed it so much we came a second time before leaving Manuel Antonio. Definitely recommend!

Excellent all around. After 7+ hours at Manuel Antonio National Park complete with sloths, monkeys and swimming on beautiful beaches followed with cool showers, we were seated at the premium sunset viewing table. Great happy hour cocktails soon followed along with Peruvian ceviche, maybe another cocktail and wonderful entrées at a reasonable price. Hi quality ingredients, high quality preparation.

We had black mussels as an appetizer which was quite good. For a main dish we had Fantasy Fish which was ok but nothing extraordinary, and the fish of the day. They were both good quality bit pretty simple taste. Overall not bad, but a bit pricey for the quality, we paid 87$ for 2 dishes, an appetizer and a water. (We went for dinner, was already dark so we could not see the view unfortunately) Service was nice and friendly.

Hands down best meal we had in all of Costa Rica! Stopped by yesterday for Happy hour and the drinks were far above any happy hour expectations so we decided to come back tonight for dinner. Esau was the best server both nights offering suggestions and ideas for drinks and our meal. My husband had the surf and turf (tuna filet) with mixed veggies so tender and delicious! I had the 3 cheese penne and had them add mushrooms holy moly it was mouth watering good! Esau offered drinks to compliment our meals and dessert those did not disappoint! He is surely a cocktail artist to say the least. For dessert we had the pineapple flambé it was so simple, but Esau gave us a little show with the flaming liquor and it ended up being to die for! This restaurant is a must try, we will definitely come back out next time we come to Costa Rica!
