Osteria La Bottega - MANTOVA

Zucca day!! Had the tortellini, the tortellini and the zucca pudding! It was so good that was no time for pictures, just the desert! Nice decoration and good service complement the experience . Fully recommend!

So we we 're actually looking for something more typical for the zone and less touristic. And luckily we found few people who recommended the same place. Well the locls not considering this place in the city center because its about 7 minutes walking from there but completely worth it. So the restuarant itself is very nice and very warm, and they have 3 levels so plenty of room. The service was really great, we had a waiter who explained about every dish. Important to point out that everything we tried was so good, in particular my favorite was spalla cotta al lambrusco . Check the photos. The range of prices for the most part is very fair, and the portions are definitely decent. Later on just before we finished we had a little talk with the owner of the place, and he explained that for almost all things they serve its home made. What would help explain the excellent taste! Place very nice, with AC, great wine and great service. Would definitely recommend!
