Back Forty Saloon - Manteno

Been coming for years. Was there Monday evening and left my coat. My bad. And of course it disappeared. All I know that would never happen at any other Manteno establishment. Thanks a lot. As I was earlier that evening telling the owner what a nice establishment it was. Well guess what!!! No more!!! Peace out

Mold! As soon as you walk in you can smell the mold and mildew. The water was leaking from the ceiling and all over the floor. The table tops were sticky with old beer/drinks I assumed. Just run down and dirty. I think it just needs a good updating!

Alexis was our bartender today and she was awesome. Extremely personable and told us some upcoming events that will be coming in the next few weeks. We don't live in the area and we like to visit small towns with bars. Currently no food is served here, but the beers are cold.

Place was very nice. The bartender kept up with our drinks. The place was very busy. Great DJ. He played very good music. He had people dancing.Parking: Big parking lot across the street.
