Ernie's Food Spirits - Manteca

Very tasty but? nothing wrong in treating your self to a chic dinner once in a while. Lol I saw in another review that she got a free dessert for her birthday. I went with my friend, we celebrated our birthdays and we didn't get a free dessert, so I don't know how it works because the hostess asked us if we were to celebrate something and I said our birthday. But no size. Oh and the bread is free refills that also very tasty with the butter and whatever the small house made thing that was next to the butter. I forgot what it means.

For birthday dinner. The food was really good. Nice atmosphere. Great waiting staff friendly and helpful. Because it was my birthday, we got a free dessert. I have to share the chocolate cake. Good thing I did. Delicious and very rich. I have the big plates scallops, perfectly cooked. Husband has the best burger. He really enjoyed it. The daughter got half the chicken she really liked. So much part had to take home. The only part of the dinner that was a bit off the par was the baked bride appetizer. The taste was great, but expect the cheese to be bigger than what we somehow got small. Just a little complaint. Apart from that, we had a great experience. Definitely recommend Ernies for a night out.

This place is an absolute diamond in the rough. It shares a parking lot with the casino, but once inside expects a beautiful ambience. The cocktails were perfectly made and the food shared the same level of perfection in taste. This is a nice culinary experience in Manteca with a price tag similar to Morton's. If you celebrate an event and find yourself in Manteca, this place will surely be an unforgettable meal to share.

This place is a hidden gem. I had the New York steak (medium rare) w/ a tray of sauces; Steak, Chimmichuri, horseradish. Pages are ordered separately, I have Brussels sprouts, carrots, potatoes. I think the drink I had was one.... Cuba Libre. Great, great, great, food. Update My second trip. I took my wife for my birthday. I had the NY Strip Steak and psn Seared Scallops. This time we tried a wedge salad, French onion soup and a few new drinks. Everything was great.

Best food I had in a long time. Ernies is a beautiful top notch restaurant with amazing service and we had the best time celebrating our anniversary here. We definitely will be back soon. A real jewel in Manteca for fine dining.
